Overview
Decide at a glance whether the network works now, whether active alerts exist, and where to act next.
Open Overview
Select a network and open Overview. It is the default page for the selected network. The network picker at the top shows the current network name and CIDR.
Overview is a current operating snapshot. Live means the latest samples received within the last six minutes. The page refreshes automatically every 60 seconds and has no manual refresh control.
Four summary cards

Select Active alerts to open Alerts. Use Insights → Traffic for traffic trends and direction details.
Read the live topology
The topology follows the current device and link configuration. Configured lines remain visible when quality data is temporarily unavailable:

Select a device to focus and highlight its links and keep their latency and loss visible. Select the same device again to restore the whole-network view.
Select a link to open its current channel, directional quality, worst RTT/loss, data time and path policy. View quality analysis opens Insights → Quality; Adjust path policy opens Configuration → Links. The snapshot does not embed historical charts.
At 30 devices or 300 links, the page changes to a device aggregate view. It shows online state, neighbour count, worst loss and channel summary for each device.
Active alerts
The top card shows the total current alert count. Select it to open Insights → Alerts, where each occurrence shows when it started, what is affected, the problem, duration, and recovery or close time.
Acknowledge records that the alert has been seen without changing its status. Closing an alert manually requires a reason. Device outages, link problems and failures that affect forwarding rules in use appear here. Intentionally suspended settings and cloud relay outside its schedule are not marked as failures.
The topology shows the latest RTT and packet-loss values. For trends, duration and path-change reasons, use Insights → Quality.
Boundary with Insights
Overview answers whether the network works now and where to act. Insights pages own:
- average-bandwidth trends, traffic rankings, and direction details;
- directional RTT/loss history;
- path transition events and trigger evidence;
- filterable configuration-change and diagnostic records.
Overview has no 1h, 12h or 24h topology selector. To determine when something happened, duration or cause, use Insights. To change channel policy, use connectivity and paths.
